FORGEWICK / CREATOR EDITIONS

Product case study / A Forgewick studio project

From “where do we even start?” to a calm, 12-month plan for the day.

We created The Calm Wedding Planner for couples who want a clear plan instead of a pile of tabs. It turns wedding planning into something a reader can use: shared priorities, a budget that adds up, one guest list that becomes the RSVP, seating and thank-you trackers, fair vendor comparisons and a short tick-list for every month from a year out to the day itself.

Self-initiated studio project showing the quality of our work. General wedding-planning information only: not legal or financial advice. The couple and all figures are fictional. It has not launched with a creator or generated sales.

THE CASE STUDY

One reader problem.
A complete product.

The brief: help a couple agree what matters, set a budget they can trust, and move through a year of planning one month at a time, so the final weeks are about the two of them rather than a to-do list.

We grounded the guide in public guidance from the US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau on budgeting and bill calendars, a state consumer-protection office on wedding contracts and deposits, the Postal Service on invitation postage, the FDA on food allergens, the NIMH and CDC on managing stress, and official US guidance on changing your name after marriage. Every chapter turns that into one simple, practical habit.

The finished edition combines original writing, a consistent illustrated style, a fully worked fictional budget and payment calendar in which every figure is calculated and checked, and nine printable tools. In a partner edition, the creator's own method, voice and experience shape every page.

Illustrative projection · not a past result or a forecast

What it could look like each month for a creator with 80K engaged followers

800buyers a month if 1% of 80,000 followers buy each month
$19,200in sales a month at $24 each
≈ $9,000a month: your 50% share after est. Whop and payment fees (~6%)

The maths, openly: 80,000 × 1% = 800 buyers × $24 = $19,200 in sales a month. After estimated fees of about 6% that is roughly $18,048, split 50/50, so about $9,024 a month to you, credited automatically through Whop. Writing, design, sales setup, delivery and customer support are covered by Forgewick: $0 to you.

Risk-free 60-day pilot. If the ebook hasn't found its audience within 60 days, we take it down. Nothing is published until you're 100% happy with it, and you never pay anything.

Illustrative projection only. Real results depend on your audience, the price we agree and how often you share it; 1% a month is an assumption, not a promise.
