FORGEWICK / CREATOR EDITIONS
Product case study / A Forgewick studio project
From “where do I start?” to a first harvest.
We created The First Harvest Garden Planner for the question every new grower asks: what should I plant, where, and when? It turns that into something a reader can use: a sun map, a bed or pot plan, a sowing calendar built from their frost dates and simple logs for the season.

Self-initiated studio project showing the quality of our work. General gardening guidance; climates and local rules vary. It has not launched with a creator or generated sales.

THE CASE STUDY
One reader problem.
A complete product.
The brief: help a first-time grower with a small yard, a balcony or a few pots get from good intentions to a first harvest they are proud of.
We grounded the guide in university extension and Royal Horticultural Society advice: start small, find six to eight hours of sun, choose deep containers, plan around frost and water to the soil. Every chapter turns that into one decision the reader can make.
The finished edition combines original writing, a consistent illustrated style, a worked first season and six printable tools. In a partner edition, the creator's own growing experience, region and methods shape every page.
