The brief: help someone paid weekly, fortnightly or twice a month match their bills to their paydays, stop being caught out by predictable costs, and make steady, visible progress on their debts over 90 days.
We grounded the guide in public guidance from the US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau on budgeting, bill calendars, managing spending, emergency funds, the snowball and highest-interest debt methods and choosing a credit counsellor, and from the UK's MoneyHelper on budgeting, sinking funds, emergency savings, priority debts and free debt advice. Every chapter turns that into one simple habit tied to payday.
The finished edition combines original writing, a consistent illustrated style, a fully worked fictional budget in which every figure is calculated and checked, and ten printable tools. In a partner edition, the creator's own method, voice and a qualified professional review shape every page.

- Four sections, a fictional worked budget split across two paychecks, a filled-in bills calendar, a sinking-fund calculation, 90-day snowball and avalanche tables with a full payoff comparison, and a page on when and where to get free debt help. Every worked figure is computed and cross-checked in code, and general statements are cited to official sources in the book.
- The design work
- 32 individually laid-out pages, original vector illustrations of savings jars, pay envelopes, a piggy bank, a grocery basket, a snowball hill and debt “mountains”, and ten worksheets designed for printing.
- The finished deliverable
- A complete, downloadable PDF with clickable contents and a watermark on every page. All 32 pages were rendered and visually reviewed.
